Social Strategy
Understand your audience, identify your goals, create a framework for success.
Establish Content Themes
Review each social channel separately and identify recurring themes within your content. Keep your themes broad in order to identify specific goals for each theme.
Audit Existing Channel
Break down the data from this existing content to identify the frequency and average engagement for each content theme. Identify which themes are resulting in the highest engagement and which are being shared at the highest frequency.
Identify Channel Goals
Establish and prioritize clear primary, secondary, and tertiary goals for each social channel. (Ex. build social following for organic reach, send people to website for sales, or build culture and identity around brand)
Create Content Strategy
Once you understand what content is working best for your channel and you have a clear understanding of what your goals are for that channel, create a content strategy for how much you want to share of each content type to achieve your goals.
